Alice Sims

I am predominantly a wildlife artist, focusing on the various areas of nature which I find particularly interesting or beautiful. My academic background in ecology is incredibly influential on my work and representing species in an accurate way can become a little bit of an obsession for me.
However I have never enjoyed being pigeonholed into one style, trademark or medium. Therefore I try not to overthink or over plan my art, much to my old college tutors dismay! I love finding the brightest colours in nature and combining them with studies of movement and behaviour.
